Theme: "Create a Peaceful Tomorrow"

Prospectus

Since atomic bombs were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945, survivors and other people all over the world have made every effort to create a peaceful world without wars and nuclear weapons. Despite their hope, however, conflict and war erupt repeatedly today, and the chains of violence caused by terrorism and retaliation against it know no end.

This joint seminar is to lead the participants into sharing the experience of Hiroshima and rethinking the problem of peace as an issue to be disentangled in their daily lives. By hearing from and talking with others involved in activities for world peace, we hope to discuss and find effective ways of creating a peaceful future by preventing war and abolishing the absolute evil of nuclear weapons.
