Department of Child Education and Psychology
Students in the Department of Child Education and Psychology can study childhood development, and upon graduation can aim to become nursery, kindergarten or elementary school teachers.
Based on the knowledge of psychology, students study issues of children’s growth and development. They acquire specialized knowledge and learn skills that enable children to reach their own potential and build good character. Students also acquire the capability to examine relationships between human and social environments surrounding today’s children, and how children grow from an early childhood education standpoint. This allows for students to think about the linkages between early childhood education and the rest of their students' lives.
