June sees the start of the Open Campus season. The other weekend, the Department of International English held its own session that followed on from information about the university as a whole. The Open Campus is an opportunity for high school students to visit our wonderful campus, learn about the department, meet students and teachers, and ask anything they want about university life.（夏のオープンキャンパスが始まりました。実際にキャンパスを見て、学科の学生や教員から話を聞いて、大学について知ってもらえる機会です。）

We had a great day with our visitors. In addition to slideshows from teachers explaining the characteristics of our department and the entrance exam system, there was also the chance to enjoy a mini-mock class with the university students.（学科の学びと入試について説明した後の模擬授業には在学生も加わり、まるで本当に大学の授業を受けているよう。）

Our department students were heavily involved, explaining about life on campus from a student's perspective. For our visitors, this was a great chance to hear about university life from their seniors.（在学生たちは、スタッフとして盛り上げてくれる、オープンキャンパスにはなくてはならない存在です。）
