Students from overseas may participate in Japanese culture experience programs, peace-related activities and short trips to Hiroshima’s main tourist attractions. During exchange programs, HJU students volunteer to attend and form meaningful relationships with their guest students.
Every June or August, HJU holds a Peace Seminar that provides cultural experience programs and sightseeing, as well as various peace-related programs like visiting Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. Participants have the opportunity to attend the official annual August memorial service in Hiroshima.
HJU has student exchange programs between eight universities in four different countries. If you are interested in studying abroad at HJU, please see information on our Exchange Programs here.
